Are you an experienced IT professional who enjoys solving technical issues, guiding colleagues and continuously improving the way IT services are delivered?

As our IT Service Desk Team Lead, you will combine hands-on technical support with team coordination and service desk leadership. You will support users across our international organization, act as an escalation point for more complex issues and help shape an efficient, professional and future-proof IT service desk.

You will be based at our headquarters in Izegem and work closely with colleagues and external IT partners supporting our locations in Belgium, Germany, Bulgaria and the United States.

What will you be doing in this role?

As our IT Service Desk Team Lead, you combine hands-on technical support with team leadership and continuous improvement across our international organization.

You will:

• Handle and resolve first- and second-line IT incidents and service requests for colleagues across multiple locations.

• Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues.

• Support our Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune, Teams and Windows.

• Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the service desk, monitor priorities and service levels, and coach service desk colleagues across our international sites.

• Manage relationships with external IT support providers and ensure high-quality service delivery.

• Drive improvements in IT service management, knowledge sharing, automation and AI-supported support solutions.

• Contribute to international infrastructure and workplace IT projects, such as hardware refreshes, network rollouts and new-site setups.

How you can add value to our team

• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent through experience.

• Proven experience in IT support or service delivery, preferably in a senior or team lead role.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, Entra ID / Active Directory and Intune.

• Experience resolving second-line support issues independently.

• Experience working with external IT vendors or managed service providers.

• Interest in automation and curious to explore what AI tooling can do for a service desk.

• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Fluent in English.

• Experience in an R&D or engineering environment is a plus.
